Can hardly move a muscle, had a fab day at my son's yesterday. He bought his son a nintendo WII for christmas and we all played on it bowling and boxing
never imagined it would take so much out of you got up this morning and could hardly move but what a laugh we had. I'd say it was worth every penny he paid
for it haven't had that much exercise in years

GOOD TIME never laughed so much and it will all be repeated on New Years Day when I have all 11 round for dinner think I'd best get some muscle rub in case

Still in the box She. Hubby is going to B&Q tomorrow for some new work surfaces to redo my craft room to accomodate it so 2 pressies in one really he he
I think the Wii is the best consol they have ever thought up it gives the kids a great work-out o need for the gym so look at the money my son will save and they have a laugh int the bargain hugs maggie |

I have fancied one of those Wii's for ages, but my other half, who is a massive PC games fanatic, thinks they look silly, but I think they look a great
laugh on the adverts on tv, do you REALLY have to move around as if you are doing the actual motion that is required in real life ?
 sounds like a daft
question, but the concept seems great,

You don't just have to move around you have to put some humph behind it we were all out of breath after it better than any session I've had at the gym

So instead of saying "I'm going for a workout at the gym" you now say "I'm going for a Wii at my son's house" !

Thanks Sheila I don't think I'll be doing the boxing next time I'll stick to the bowling even that needs a bit of force behind it Hubby was the
biggest laugh of all he really went to town against his boxing apponant which was a woman what he didn't realise was it was him that was getting knocked
out he never got a blow to make contact it was hilarious

Oh Maggie, they should come with a government health warning! I bought Mario and Sonic Oylimic games for the wii this year and it's hilarious
.........my son was exhausted after just two rounds of the track
events.... it is loads of fun isn't it

Maggie, they were wiing in the kitchen all Christmas Day While I was trying to get to the cooker.... Playing Golf and Tennis, between the cooker and fridge,
had to keep shouting FORE, its a wonder the spuds never fell off

Have to agree. Got the children one they love it. Kept it hidden and Adam Was expecting Fifa 2008 for the playstation. When he opened it and saw it was for the
wii his little face fell I apologised sayin I'd made a big mistake. He said "It's O.K. I can change it after Christmas"but he looked so
dissapointed. We then gave them the wii. They still didn't realise until they had opened the box! Big looks of surprise Wish I'd had my camera
ready.
Have been a bit poorly of late with a trapped nerve in my neck so daren't chance it Pity, it is fantastic As you say they are all aching today, exept me who was aching anyway! Carole |

Will have to save my pennies for next Christmas, sounds like much more fun than an exercise bike to get rid of the extra pounds piled on over the holidays.
However, I am going to have a problem saving, I just spotted Joannas' new items on the Special Offers page this morning and couldn't resist ... LOL

You can actually SIT and play on a Wii - but its more fun leaping about. We got the Smooth Moves disc as well - its hysterically funny. I havent told Paul that
you DONT really need to do the poses like on the screen - he looks a right chookie though when he does lol
