Congratulations ladies, hope you enjoy playing when you get them! Not jealous at all (can you see my nose growing lol) We don't have sky either but managed
to catch the last half of it on the computer. Didn't realise I could do that. Fantastic sets of stamps, loved what I saw of the show. Think I will have to
put these down on my ever growing list! Trouty x (Jean)

Just ordered my peacock - could NOT resist, so I didn't!!!
I loved the format of the show - just enough sell and demo to keep us all happy, I think... perhaps they will do more of the same if it was so successful. Love and light F |

Well, nobody could say I didn't creep shamelessly, but no joy - oh well I grudgingly hope you enjoy your goodies Lydia and Chris - seriously, what a great
prize - have loads of fun with them, and if after a little play, you decide you don't like them - well, I'd be delighted to take them off your hands.

Ida my love, you can come round and clean my house any time. Don't care if your car breaks down again, I'll drive you home.
Ironically, we actually do need a new cleaner at work. The one we had resigned before Christmas, so I was there last weekend cleaning the toilets myself. It's a glamorous life! Can I reinforce the thing I said on the show about allowing yourself to waste two pieces. For those who didn't see the show, what I said was that we are all guilty of buying lots of yummy crafting stash, then not daring to use it because it's too precious. It's a common problem. What I suggest is with something like Stampbord, take two pieces out of the bag as soon as you get it (or as soon as you can) and allow yourself to play with it. Think of these two pieces as being destined for the bin - you are deliberately going to waste them and not care if the results are not perfect. They are your test pieces, you're allowed to make mistakes and completely ruin it. Once you're in that mindset that it doesn't matter what happens, you tend to relax and if you do it as soon as you can, rather than putting it off til you have some special crafting time, then you will remember what the demonstrator was doing with it. If you buy stuff at shows, try to play with it as soon as you can because that's when you're full of excitement. If you leave it a while, then you have to remember what to do with it or you feel guilty that you haven't used it. So (maybe this should be another thread), what do you have in your stash that you could do that with? |

I have so much stuff that I haven't used yet, including stampboard that I bought off Joanna at the NEC a year ago!! So perhaps now is the time to play
with it. Your show yesterday certainly gave us alot of inspiration. Even though I have got all this unused stuff, it doesn't stop me buying more. I had
to stop myself going out and getting a Christine Coleman parchment CD today after watching her on C& C this morning. I haven't got enough time to use
what I have already got, let alone getting into parchment craft!!
I
may have a play with the stampboard this evening as I have the house to myself. Thanks for a brilliant show Glenda.
