Thanks for the warning though Alison as I did wonder if it was only the Kling-on that it happened too, but apparently not.

I store mine on laminated sheets after discovering for myself that the ones on acetate had stuck so fast, that getting them off tore some of the cling. Now
they are on laminated sheets haven't had a problem since.

Have just checked the EZ Mount web site and it only mentions acetate as a definite no no for EZ Mount and any other cushioned cling material so I think
laminated sheets are okay. EZ Mount do sell stamp n store sheets which are similar to the folders Joanna sells but these come in sheet form to go into a 3 ring
folder. Also CD cases are okay as I have some umounted stamps stored on these with no problems and they are great for carrying small stamps around in.

well I've just been and checked my big stamp folder, the majority being Joannas stamps, and although they're on acetate, they
peeled off quite nicely. They've been on there for about 2 years plus, but I shall get round to changing it, "just in case" !! Jacqui x

I store mine in the 'Stamp and Store' folders from Joanna, those things are a godsend! And they hold a fair few stamps too.

I store mine on the shiny side of the backing from the plain paper covering the EZ mount and pop them neatly back into the plastic bag. Works a treat. Thanks
for the warning though.

The packaging on Kling-On warns against "prolonged contact" with acetate, maybe now ez-mount will do the same. However I have heard Glenda Waterworth on Create and Craft shows recommend laminating the index cards that come with her unmounted theme plates and using these to store the stamps on after they have been mounted on Kling-On (the ones sold via Ideal World are often already pre-mounted on Kling-On). I doubt if Glenda would recommend laminating if the plastic in laminating pouches had similar properties to acetate, so anyone using laminated sheets to mount on is probably safe enough. |

I store mine in loose leaf pocketed photo album pages, in a large file.

Thanks for the warning about acetate. My problem is getting my stamps to stick to the acrylic blocks. I press my stamp, which is backed with easi-mount onto
my acrylic block, ink my stamp and hey presto as I then attempt to turn my stamp onto the card - plop it falls off. As you can imagine I am not a happy bunny,
'cos all my unmounted stamps are backed with easi-mount.
