My hubby bought me one for xmas from America and including postage it was only £107. The same company sells the cartridges for £20-30 and postage is around £5. I don't know if I can name the company, but send me a message for more info. If I have broken any rules by posting this then I appologise. I just like finding a bargain and passing it on. Posts: 98 (22/01/2008 22:31:58) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Only trouble I found i.e. when I bought rubber stamps direct from the USA - if cost exceeded £18 HMC&E charged quite a lot plus the Royal Mail charged extra for handling the item, even though you had to collect this personally from the local sorting office. Any advice please - I've heard a number of people have purchased the Cricut in this way.

Biggest problem would be if the machine goes wrong within the warranty, you would have to pay for the postage to & from the US to get it repaired free. Not many do break down but it's a gamble. I buy from abroad on a regular basis but I'm not sure the savings are enough to risk on one of these.

Hope it was O.K toE-mail you, although not new to the Joanna Forum I have as yet no posted on the sight?? Kind regards Jean

Also have brought from China on Ebay and Amazon in US and they have reduced the actual value of the items. So I have been a happy bunny as two cartridges have cost the price of one. not sure I would have brought the machne from there though. regards Paula.x

I haven't been on my computer for a while. My Cricut came with an American plug on it, but as it is the same lead as most printers I used my old printer lead with no problems. In worsed case you just have to cut plug off and replace with a british one. A lot of companies lie about the price of products so they get through customs without a problem. The company I bought from did this and said that cost of contents were $49.99. I had fully expected to pay fees when it arrived and was very supprised when i didn't have to. It was delivered Parcel Force 48 hrs and there was nothing to pay. If you have any questions you will probably get a quicker reply if you send me a pm.
