It'd double length though so I'm thinking about 2/3 of it. If I can persuade DH it will be a craft room for me and play room for my DD. Will have to have a loo out there too! Nic x

He also got to keep the freezer and tumble dryer in his bit. We had a door knocked through from the hall into the garage and it was a proper conversion. Paul said if it was going to be done it would have to be done properly so it would be part of the house as if it had always been there. We did not need planning permission but had to have building regulations and parking for at least 2 cars still in the drive. It sounds posh calling it my "Studio" but when the plans were drawn up, the architect asked was the room was to be used for and Paul said a "Studio" so thats what was put on the plans and has stuck. Only problem now is I need a bigger one, some hope Good luck I hope you get it.

We could not do it as ours floods at least ones a year teres a river at the end of the garden and the land drain from 6 houses backs up and as our is the last house on it it comes up in our drive to 4 inches deep .Ronnie
