You can keep it there, Doreen!! At least until I get home from work, and then it can snow all it likes as hubby did the shopping for me this afternoon,
although the sky is looking a bit 'snowy' here in Worcs.

It's 'orrible out there - huge dark clouds filling the sky and heavy raindrops... glad it's not snow though.

We have had wind rain hail and a small amount of snow flurries, but mostly it is just wet miserable and bloomin freezing... Roll on Summer then we can moan it
is tooo hot hopefully
 now that sounds nice right at this moment......
clear blue skies sun beating down, birds twittering, flowers blooming, sitting in the garden with a nice cool drink... ahhh sweet dreams of Summer Ohhh got carried away then

Yep ir's here in Daventry. Darkeness began to fall, the wind rose and down came the snow - though it's not too bad at the moment! Now that my nearest
and dearest are home I don't mind if it falls thick and fast, I have a meeting for most of tomorrow that I don't really want to go to - snow would be a
good excuse to stay in and craft!! Hope you all keep safe and warm.

Jacqui If you want snow, then come and visit me... There have been over 100 people that have had to be rescued off the A66 and taken to Bowes village.. some of
the worst ones were brought here to Bishop Auckland General hospital...
Once you get up to the Dales, the wind blows horizontal at the best of times.. but when you add a blizzard to the equation it gets really nasty... Much safer where you are hon.. love n hugs Ida x |

We've had it all day - power cut in the morning, BBC radio told us at noon that it had moved on and we'd had our share for the day.
Guess what, somebody got it wrong and it continued thick and fast well after 5 o'clock. It's quiet now but they say overnight it's going to be -10degrees or less with more heavy snow tomorrow, on top of the 8+ inches from today. Guess what's on channel 5 and OH is glued to it - a programme about ice truckers!! Jox |

We've just had a slight snowfall in Stirlingshire, but seemingly there's a whole lot more on the way fopr tomorrow.
Hubby was supposed to be travelling up from Hertfordshire today, he usually takes the A66 route. Just as well he didn't, it was closed at Co. Durham. 100 odd cars got stuck in the snow! So hopefully weather will be better next weekend and he can come home then. I do hope everyone is warm and safe, and only drive anywhere if it's absolutely necessary. Take care McJackie x |

Cold and windy here in North Lincs, a bit of sleet but no snow for us. We never seem to get much snow
I think its worn itself out on the pennines by the time it gets here.
