But why do you wear these colours? Is it because they make you feel great? Come on girls dish the dirt!

I was always black, black and more black ..... now I am going for browns and pale neutral colours. I love pale blues too (not with brown though).

I love wearing turquoise, clothes and jewellery, and lilac too. Just makes me feel good
I don't like wearing black as it seems to drain the colour from my face

I mostly wear jeans or black trousers with
white sweatshirts, I have 10 of them. My favourite colour is green, but not pea green. I cant wear red cos it makes me go doolally. I feel best in white. |

I want to know why people wear dark colours in winter??? And yes, I do it too, but I bought a new full length coat this winter which is red because I'm so
tired of seeing everyone in black. I like to see bright umbrellas too. From choice I wear quite a lot of heather pink, because I like it and it suits me. Also
pale and mid blue, deep red....the cool colours (as against hot, not cool as in trendy!) When my hair was brown I wore brown and fawn a lot; now I'm
verging on pure white they no longer suit me hence the grey and black. I do wear green skirts and trousers but look dreadful in a green top - my complexion is
olive (or sallow when I'm fed up with my face). I looked round my Weight Watchers group one day last summer: everyone was in drab shades and it looked so
miserable. Then a lady came in wearing a bright red & white striped top, and it was as if the sun had come out!
ETA: I'm know I'm wearing a green top in my avatar but that is because I give voluntary help at the local Hawk Conservancy and it's their uniform polo shirt. The only time I wear it is when on duty!

My choice of colours have definitely been influenced by House of Colour - colour analysts & image consultants. I don't strictly go by everything I
learned with them, but being a bit of a sceptic, I was surprised by how much certain colours changes my appearance and lifts my spirits.
Has anyone else ever had a colour analysis? Rosemarie

My favourite colour is blue. I've always worn a lot of black, but as I get older I find I have to add colour to soften it.
In spring and summer my colours are dictated by how much I like an outfit, and I won't buy something in a particular colour if I feel the style of the outfit won't suit me. I frequently get it wrong. Sheila W. |
