Mine is my tomcat's name. He passed away two years ago so it keeps his name alive. He was called Shoestring because he had a trainer lace tied round his
neck when we rescued him. It put me in mind of 'Bootlace' which is what my Dad called the fictional detective Eddie Shoestring played by Trevor Eve way
back when I was only a youngster. Thus we named him Shoestring. Are you asleep yet?

We've got a black labrador - black lab - blab - blabbydog!!!! He's hard at work being asleep on the sofa at the moment!

My Grandchildren live opposite me, and their other granparents used to
live here in the same village, both grandma's are called Nanny. When my grandson was small to save confusion he would call his other Nanny "Nanny up the hill", and me "Nanny over there" hence my forum name. Anne x |

I nearly lost them to Canada this year as my son was offered a job
there. Thankfully they have changed their minds and have decided to stay. I would have had to change my name to Nanny-over-over-there lol. Anne x |
