Well just got back from my friends in Halifax and my visit to Kanban. Had a great time in there - 3 and half hours packing - phew I hope the Sheenies who
received their boxes were pleased with the contents. We certainly put a lot of thought into what went into them and it's actually not as easy as you think
when packing for others cause you're not sure of what they will like best.
I personally thought the ladies to decoupage were gorgeous - think they went in twice!!!
Anyway it was great fun really and my non card making friend who was with me and packed two boxes is still speaking to me!!!
After Kanban we went to have a nosey at Meryle's new shop in the market - you can't go to Shipley and not visit Meryle!!! It's brilliant and I can tell it's going to get better and better. I so wish I lived close enough to go to the workshops she will be starting.
However, for anyone going to Kanban it is really easy to park next to Shipley market and pop in to have a look at Meryle's goodies. I bought the lovely kimonos that I have been tempted by for ages and some of her essential craft items.
All in all a great day out.
