I used Faber Castell, bought mine on EBAY really cheaply otherwise you can get them in most stationery stores ie. WS Smiths, Staples etc. If use EBAY and you
want the link let me know.

I like Derwent Inktense as they are waterblendable but waterPROOF once dry.
They are almost like an acrylic ink in a pencil. You can mix lots of different colours /shades from just several pencils. This means you can layer water based things over the top without blurring your original artwork. Can use them for silk painting too. If you google Derwent and inktense there are quite a few online sellers.
