Can anyone tell me the best way to attach old fabric to pages. I have just obtained a photo of my gran in the early twenties and I would like to include a
hankie she kept from WW1 on a page.
Firstly should I risk it and if so do I need to protect it somehow? At th emoment it languishes at the bottom of the ottoman Anne |

Could you seal the hankie in a small plastic bag and attach the bag to the page, or how about some large stitches (possibly silk thread) put through the layers
underneath to hold it in place. These can be easily removed and shouldn't react with the fabric. HTH

Iwas putting away a christening robe andwas told not to put it in plastic , so don't use it for the hanky

I would get some of the special archive type 'wallets' to put something that special in. I think there are some made by 3M which you can buy from
scrapbook stores.
