I posted yesterday about the scafolders driving me mad well now today they are banging and hammering . This has prompted me to remind everyone to make sure
they have a smoke alarm and that the batteries are working. The banging and hammering is happening because about 6 weeks ago the flat next to mine went up in
flames. The resident of the flat didn't have a smole alarm . luckily they got out ok so please make sure you have one and test it regularly

And a CO detector - these are so much more readily available these days.
Thanks Lonnie for the timely reminder. Donna X |

We have both a smoke detector and a CO detector fitted in our house.
The co detector works from the mains electricity and the smoke detector is battery powered. We do check that on a regular basis. Thanks for the reminder Lonnie Eli xx |

My dog runs up and down the stairs barking every time ours goes off, I have always made a game of this and shout everyone out! He now barks when the toast is
just at that burning point!
