Penny, selling cards can be quite difficult. In my experience I've found school stalls very difficult as the schools tend allow too much competition and fortunately I had agreed with the school I wouldn't pay £12 for the stall but would pay half of everything I made which thankfully I did as I only made about £8.00 for a whole mornings work. It can be soul destroying at times but you do bounce back and know in your heart of hearts that some people will pay for quality. My mum has some boxes of cards where she works. It doesn't bring in a lot but 50% of all I make on cards goes to charity and therefore when people are buying from ehr work they know where the money is going to. I have some at a chiropractor who sells the cards to raise money for the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children and a patient there offered to have some in her place of work. She works in sheltered housing where a walk to the newsagent/Post office could be like from London to Birmingham for some of the residents so they seem to have gone down well and she's sold £40 of cards so that's £20 for their kitty to buy new crockery for the communual room.

If you have far too many to keep at the moment consider sending them for the Marie Curie if it's still on. I made 33 cards and another 17 cards to make my 50 but luckily we have a local shop here and they took them. If not try sending them for the soldiers. You can imagine how grateful they'd be to be able to send hom that very special card to a loved one on a birthday, anniversary, wedding, Christmas etc.

Don't give up. Persevere and there will be light at the end of the tunnel but in the meantime have FUN enjoying your hobby.
