Oh what a darling! We had a retired greyhound for about 6 years, from the time she finished racing and she was the most delightful creature. After a coupe of
years, she had learned to be a 'real' dog - snifffing and playing etc. Before that, she walked straight ahead on the lead, and didn't stop and
sniff the edges or anything. It was lovely to see her blossom.
One thing, greyhounds are accomplished thieves and will walk past a plate of biscuits without breaking step and these will be at least one missing and a contented greyhound munching in a hidden corner!!!
Good luck with her - she'll repay the love you are giving her a thousandfold. I just wish more people knew what wonderful pets they make. (off the soap-box!).
We now have whippets as they are smaller, but actually our grey didn't take up much more room and was calmer. One of the whippies we've recently adopted is like a demented flea!! Janet

but i got her in the end with a cheese slice rolled in a ball
& she has eyed the bin up a few times, i am going to have to move it i
think
so
glad she found a happy and loving home
