My paper and card live in a plastic chest of drawers. It's difficult to see what's in each drawer, even though I started off with lots of labelled
folders ('Fancy papers'. 'More fancy papers'. 'Even more fancy papers' etc) so last week I bought a couple of big expanding files, 26
pockets in each, so I could sort the papers properly and have 4 empty drawers for other craft bits which have been living on the floor for want of anywhere
better. Well, this morning I started: all the fancy A4 sheets went into one folder but the plain card I put back into one of the drawers. All the little bits
also went back into a drawer, ready for making ATCs and also for when I just need a small piece so I don't keep cutting into a good
sheet.........well, actually there were so many little bits that they have filled two drawers. Result? I am just one drawer to the good, there are still bits
all over the floor and I don't know what to put into the remaining empty drawer to use it most efficiently. Mind you, the drawer labelled
'Embellishments' could do with overflowing into a second one so I can see what I've got, and that's despite taking out 4 plastic boxes (18
compartments each) of brads, eyelets, charms etc. I bought my first Flower Soft at Ally Pally and now want all the colours, I need bigger boxes for each one
and the ones I bought yesterday still aren't big enough. I have an empty box that my cuttlebug folders/dies were in because I've bought one of the
'proper' storage binders - it arrived this morning and is already full so if (I mean when) I buy more dies I'll need to get a new binder as well,
and am still wondering where to store the first one.

A lady on the forum cant remember her name her writes in pink told us of these great shoe racks from pound stretcher. They are great as they just stack on top
of eachother inside my wardrobe in my craft room and are only £3 sumat each. So now when I send for something I write on the lip of the box whats inside and
just stick on the shoe racks in the wardrobe inside my craft room.

stuff is

Fiona - the smallest "really useful boxes" are good for flowersoft. Plenty big enough and stackable. Enough room to sprinkle it on whatever you are
doing too without it all falling over the desk/floor/table/dog, etc.

A friend of mine, lured into crafting, came up with one of those bobbin boxes with about 30 compartments. She was really thrilled and said that this would hold
all her stamps [they were the little ones] and crafting bits.
She was quite upset when I dissolved into laughter! Now she has a craft room like me. Judy C |

I think you need to be admitted into the Priory!
On second thoughts dont bother, save the money you would have spent on the fees and buy more binders and drawers, you will feel a lot better then! Diane |

Murphy's Law in action - anything sorted out will take up twice the amount of space it did before it was sorted.
