Been to court..... |

some of you may remember that my daughter had her mobile stolen out of her bag at school last June. This morning we had to go to court and she had to stand in
front of the judge and explain what had happened. This was quite hard as she is only 15. The boy concerned then had to pay her 30 Euros for taking it, dont
know what else happened to him as we left the court at that point but I have to say he did not look sorry at all, oh well it is now finished with.

That must have been an ordeal for your Daughter, it takes guts to stand in front of the wrong doer and speak out.
Lets hope he does show some remorse, but yobs these days dont seem to care one little bit. Eli xx |

I agree but the judge went on, how his mother (who looked very young) had to support the family and find food etc and his baby sister, so lets just hope a lesson has been learntOh so he stole the phone to feed the family did he, or was it so they could order the food and have it delivered. Sorry not an excuse in my book, plenty of families are struggling but they don't go out thieving.

EuniceMI totally agree that steeling is not exceptable and should not go on, I think the judge was making a point that the way the mother had to pay would make the money short for the housekeeping and I am sure that he did not steel the phone for food but for his pocket and not his mothers, the boys mother was very upset with the goings on. It is always the mother who suffers, trying to make ends meetOh so he stole the phone to feed the family did he, or was it so they could order the food and have it delivered. Sorry not an excuse in my book, plenty of families are struggling but they don't go out thieving.
