I am finding it hard going just now fitting in crafting with going to work every day, housework and gardening. This week I have been up late crafting until
about 1.00am - not much good cause I am at my crafting best first thing in the morning, when I am rushing about getting ready for work!

my you do all seem to be carrying lots of guilt about setting aside time for yourselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
who's going to do the h.......................K if you dont? so no-one is likely to complain are they if you set aside 1 day a week to yourself, think of it as a days holiday if it helps. i work part time, no one in this house would dare complain, they know my answer- if you want it now, you do it now, otherwise i'll do it when i'm ready!!!!! it's not being selfish or mean, when your doing the h....................k what are the rest of the husehold doing? perhaps on game system, watching tv, playing outside (kids). please take some time for yourselves ladies, i was very unhappily married to a 'cleanaholic' n even if i did it, it was never good enough, i moved on. now i'm with pete, it all gets done in the week but if i wanna craft i do, he never moans he even helps me choose stuff n admires my cards when they're done. sorry to go on girls, but you can decide to craft, it's your time you just have to get used to taking it!!! happy crafting, chell x |

Mmmm, I know I don't feel guilty, I deserve ME time, so now I'm wondering what it is that is preventing me from getting on with it! I fill my time
with other things, so why am I avoiding it? Will have to go away on work on it I think. Thanks for your feedback girls. Maybe I lack inspiration! x

i find spending on craft brings inspiration, or try the swap thread, it dont have to be brand new to inspire!
try something new, have a go at making an ATC wallet or a waterfall card, bit of parchment craft or rubber stamping. branch out a little, chell x |

Well, apart from my wonderful family my priorities are:
1] animals and farm chores 2] crafting 3] H........ , which comes a very poor third! I have learned over the years, to keep the house in reasonable order so that there's not too much to do [IMHO anyway!] when visitors come to stay. Otherwise, people have to accept me as I am. I would rather have happy, healthy animals and a happy, healthy owner than any amount of polished silverware etc. Believe me, make time for yourself without feeling guilty, Judy C |
