I think having time to spend doing something you enjoy is so much better for you than getting stressed out about a bit of dust.

I'm definitely with the crafting first brigade!! When I was married my house was always spotless and there was never a thing out of place but I was
sooooooo unhappy. Now I keep the place tidy(ish) and whizz round for a couple of hours on a Friday evening so the place looks reasonably ok for the weekend and
enjoy my days off. I try and have an hour or so crafting in the evenings cos I think life is too short to spend all your time working and doing the dreaded
h*******k!

I work full time and just the same as many of you I sit at work and think of the cards I'd like to make, get home and other things take
over, my week-ends are taken up with looking after my lovely grandson Charley who's 16 months he's at that stage of into all the cupboards so not much of anything get done when he's around h.......k or crafting, but he does make me laugh with all the new things he does, thats medicine in itself.. I would love to have more time for my crafting, one of these days I suppose. Liz M |

Junie 78 - I know exactly where you are coming from, too. Everything you said is as if I had written it. Every weekend I am going to craft and every weekend
I spend catching up on other things, and then Monday morning comes round again and its just the same old cycle every week. What are we like!!

Well I have to say Family & Crafting come first - I work the family around the crafting and then the housework after that
If I have samples to do - then the housework stops and Kris does the hoovering and then minimal until i`m done - hence why i`m have 4 loads of washing that i`m now doing but it all gets done - I see it as work and fit my work around our lives - I work late when it`s needed and am rewarded but what I get done - Kris understands and helps so much - Crafting has got me through this past year when I was low - but now i`m nearly on top form again i`m loving it and think that my 2.5hours when Erins at school is my craft time Suzanne

Sometimes crafting comes first and other I go on a guilt trip and do the housework first. It just depends on my mood. While I had my grand-daughter staying
over her Easter holidays I hardly found any time for crafting. I need to set some time aside each week for crafting, as though I have an appointment.

Its the only place that i craft, is at home. I dont go to workshops or craft groups, infact the local craft group doesnt even craft they just sit chatting.
I can spend hours on my cards, its great and the house work, well it will get done eventually - LOL |

Well, here I am again. Its the weekend, I have been at work all week, and I have a list of things in my head that I should be doing, but my new Cute
Companions CD came this morning, and a new stamp I ordered from Sharon, so now I don't know what to do first! There is washing to put out and more to put
on, cleaning, dusting, etc., etc., Oh, blow it all. I'm gonna have a look at the CD, and then go down to my local craft shop (which is just down the
road from where I live) and have a mooch around. Then I'm off for a walk around the lake in the park nearby. I have to get some walking in at the weekend
because I am stuck in an office all week. I'm hopeless, aren't I. And I've got C & C on in the background trying to catch up on all the
programmes I recorded yesterday while I was at work. I need to get organised.
