HAD A EMAIL THIS MORNING FROM AOL SAYING MY ACCOUNT NEEDS UP DATING I KNEW IT WAS A SCAM AS AOL WOULD NOT ASK FOR BANK DETAILS BY EMAIL ,RUNG TO LET THEM KNOW
.SO JUST BE AWARE

Carol when I was with AOL I used to get loads of those emails. I phoned to report the first one too and I was told that genuine AOL emails have a blue
background but the ones I was getting were white. Everything else looked genuine though so I expect there will be a few people caught out unless they're
very careful.

There are loads doing the rounds at the moment, I have lost count of the ones coming my way. You must never click a link in an email, a reputable bank etc
would not ask that. I had to laugh at one the other day ... it was from bank of Scotlandia lol

There is invariably at least one (often more) spelling or grammatical error to give their game away!

all the internet providers are being targeted . I notified tiscali when I got my first one. I don't do internet banking so I know that any of the emails i
get from a "bank" are phishing scams even if it is from my own bank as they don't have my email addy. I send em to my spam link.

had one the same last week and rang AOL to tall them I had the e-mail on the screen at the time and the guy i spoke to said it looked very realistic told me to
press the spam button, but i have been very wary since...........Ann d xxx

I get loads of these every week.............I just 'dump them in the spam bucket'.......usually get a message from my IP provider thanking me fo it. So
now that'e where they appear,
