It will be two years in May since Eric retired and in that time he hasn't touched his paint brushes. He was given vouchers, new paints, easel, brushes and
loads of other art stuff by his colleagues and he hadn't touched any of it until last week. When we had our American guests last November he took some
photos and some of them were from the banks of the river in Durham. He took some close up shots of Autumn leaves and decided to paint them. I scanned it today
and used one of the images to make a card. I used Joanna's leaf backing paper from The Cardmaker's Year CD2. The backing paper is matted and layered on
to bronze and black mirri card and so is the image of the photo.
