We have our heating on all day and use the thermostat down stairs to turn it on or off when needed. Its easier that way for my 90yr old mum to do if Im out and she feels chilly! Mums away at the moment while we have the bathroom altered and I hardly had the heating on for several days! Just the hot water! I woke this morning and noticed all the radiators were warm even tho the thermostat is right down! After a while the went cold. OH Bother I thought! Sort that out when you are back from the shopping Margaret! Came back from shopping and the radiators were on again and the house like a greenhouse! Ive had to resort to turning the heating and water right off! It seems to happen when the water heats up! Right now I have all the windows open trying to cool the place down! This never happens when its mid winter and you want the heating on does it! Margaret x

Had my thermostat set at 10 degrees yesterday and the radiators were still pumping out heat so I had to open the windows to cool off. Then the wind got up and sun went in and I was freezing Jo xxx

Posts: 390 (26/04/2008 19:10:41) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Ours acts up too Margaret, In the summer to get hot water we have to put the heating on and turn the thermostat right down so that the house doesnt heat up. We should be able to work the heating separately from the water so something is definitely wrong. Doreen xx

Posts: 1252 (27/04/2008 00:08:41) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	i control my heating and i can tell you that the heating is still on downstairs only. mind you it is on low AND AND AND i still have my electric blanket on my bed and yes when i came home this evening from work i put the electric blanket on and it is now waiting for me to climb into bed. the folks at work think i am mad what with the heating on and the electric blanket and still using my flannel sheets. i remember when i was a child everyone was complaining about the hot weather and there i was with a cardigan on.....
