Posts: 318 (27/04/2008 19:32:57) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Tags : None Here in Sheffield we have had the most horrendous thunderstorm, you could not see the end of the road as the rain was soooo heavy. Well if that wasn't bad enough there was an almighty crash of thunder and a flash of lightning and it blew the TV, thought it might have just fused but saddly no the telly has gone Kaputt. Hubby quite pleased as he has wanted one of the shiny black 37" ones for a while so we are off shopping tomorrow. Watching a 15" portable at the moment feel as tho we need binoculars to watch it. I think I am going to have to get the wellies out just to get to the car. We lost our power too for about 10 mins or so, just glad it waited until Joanna had finished her show. Sue

They all had to run for cover and the bbq was a wash out, bless em. Fortunately we didn't lose the electricity or anything like that but it was quite scary for a while. Claire xx

Posts: 1540 (27/04/2008 21:57:41) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	I think that had something to do with me lol, it started above our house, iv never seen a Storm actually start, it was all clear then all this black cloud started to gather it was a bit scary, there was some load claps of thunder and a few flashes of lighting and a bit of heavy rain then it just moved on, it looked like it was heading Sheffield way. it looks like we got the very begining and you bore the brunt Nicxx
