dose any body have children who love to craft along with you? all my children love to make cards ie birthdays ect

My 3 year old son loves having a go at rubber stamping and any kind of cutting and sticking.

my son who is 16 will not craft with me but we do sit together while im making cards he dose his drawings which im proud of he sold one at a art show the other
week he got £50 for it i said i would love to make a cd of his drawings and make it into a craft cd
but dont know where to start lol |

perhaps you sould arsk the crafting experts like joanna or sharron as they have put crafting cd,s together sounds like your son has some tallent there ? is he
thinging or doing any more to sell perhaps he could make a little bussness for him self.

My grandsons 5 and 2 1/2 love to sit and craft with me, they love the sticking and the mess they make, we have a great time. The nearly 5 year old loves to do
punching, stamping, sticking, and anything that makes a mess, he adores glitter glue, I think he has talked me into everyshade going. When we take him anywhere
that sells it, his usual ploy is, he would like that colour, sorry sweetheart but I have spent
enough on you today I say, he then tries the 'oh you haven't got that colour Nana, I think you need this one'  which normally works, my daughter says he has me wrapped round his little finger,
and she
isn't wrong.

Maia is 6 and had been crafting with me since she was about 2. She has boxes full of craft stuff in her bedroom and for birthdays etc. all the Mums at school
know to buy her crafty type kits.
A real treat is when she allowed to use "Mummy's special pens" (Sakura) although that did backfire on me at Christmas when she finished off the red glaze pen I was using on my Chrimbo cards Her friends all seem to want to craft when they come round too - maybe it's becasue they don't get
into trouble here for getting glitter everywhere - can't tell whether it was me or them

Yes Erin - 3 loves crafting and rubberstamping is here favourite - her own things not mine !!!! - it`s funny when i`m decoupaging something and often cutting
out whilst she is in the room playing - she gets a piece of paper and her scissors and starts chopping
She thinks all cards are called Valentines after we made one for Daddy - and now all cards are called that Suzanne |

yes my little girl Hollie (5) loves 2 craft she helped make her own christmas cards at 1, makes and swaps ATCS,has hundreds of rubber stamps stickers Joannas
cds you name it anything crafty, she even has her own craft room complete with cuttlekidz die cutting machine. She was very excited on Saturday as me and her
nannie (nannie Tina ) took her to the craft den at wisbech and she got to meet and have her photo taken with Joanna and Nancy W.She loves to make all her
friends and family birthday and christmas cards.

My daughter loves crafting with me, she loves crafting full stop lol. Her most recent attemp was a decoupage baby card. I will put it in my pictures as soon as
I get a photo. I would love to see some of the talented childrens work, kids are so creative and find so many new ways to use things.

Because I spend so much time with my 7 year old grand daughter, she not only likes to make cards but loves to experiment. We make our own backing paper using
different inks, copying our "recycle collages made from paper, fabric card....anything that can be placed on the scanner. Painting on top of different
shapes and thickness to have different textured backgrounds.
The messier the better. Our last craft day together had us painting rice onto paper, colouring different pulses (for shakers made out of used water bottles) with colourwash and making " places we want to see" collages out of cereal boxes and travel brochures. The only thing we tend to run out of is time.........it passes so quickly when we are having fun! EuniceX |

My Granddaughter Rosie who is 12 loves to craft with me,and often comes to spend the day crafting in the school holidays,she has been crafting now for about a
year and has included sewing, cross stich and card making, keeps me young!!!

Several of my grand children LOVE to craft with me. That is the first thing they ask to do when they come through the door.
The Glitter Girls ' Catwalk' CD has been a HUGE hit with them. They seem to know their way around the computer better than me ! Also they are amazingly good at stamping using marker pens before using a brush to ' watercolour' them. Die cut decoupage ( from the numerous Create and Craft kits) presents no stumbling block for them. Five year old Meg astonished some of my friends with her skills at this and her insistance that each piece went exactly over the other ! A trainee for Joanna's team, I suggest !! My two little great nieces love to ' scrapbook'. However, this largely involves sitting at the table and cutting up paper in to a million pieces !! Heigh, ho ! You have to start somewhere !!!
