Hi everyone. I have just been to the specialist to see why I keep getting dizzy. He thinks I have benign positional vertigo, but I need a balance test next
week to confirm this. He is also concerned about my hearing loss, which is not a symptom of the vertigo. So I have to get an MRI scan done, which has a 6 week
waiting period. But after the test next week he is hopeful that with set balance exercises, my dizzy spells will be gone. Hooray! The only thing is he suggests
that I have only a light breakfast, and that I will be very sick after the balance test. Really not looking forward to that, but if it gets rid of the vertigo,
I will be happy. My hearing loss I can cope with, and at this stage he doesn't think I will need hearing aids, but he will know more after the scan. So
good news. I can't wait to be better.
