Melcache, I know what you mean. There were times we wished Dan would move out, especially when he was being noisy after we had gone to bed (he works late
shifts) and also when he used all the hot water in the bath, but its still sad and I expect you would miss your two if they moved.......or would you?

Anne as everyone says it will get easier. My son, now 24 went to uni in plymouth (a 3 hour journey) and at first it was terrible even though my daughter was
still here but it did get easier and of course he brought his washing home. After uni he spent a year at home and has now joined the RAF, he is doing his trade
training and is now less than an hour away and is home most weekends.
Best wishes Kim |

My son left home last year, aged 23, moved back to England, managed to get his driving license, and is now working, trouble is he is nearly a thousand miles
away, but he is way happier than he was here, and he comes home for holidays, as does his 26 year old sister. It is difficult, but we are all happy in our own
way, and with the advent of free phone calls to the UK with our internet provider..... life is cool, as they would say

Never had kids (thank goodness) so won't have the problem but can imagine it will feel strange for a while. Now you get to live your own life!! Hope you
enjoy your new freedom once the sounds of silence soothe rather than upset you. Janet

You know what they say - the best things you can give your children are love and wings. Well, you've achieved both, and now you can get back to living life for yourself, knowing that you've given your son the best possible start in life. Things will get easier for you, given time, and you'll still be in touch with him. Hope you wake up tomorrow feeling more cheerful and positive. Take care of yourself. Luv, Sue xx |
