When you move house and need to be reconnect on the phone by BT, they are likely to charge you £125 to do it !!!! Especially if the
occupant previous to you had migrated to another company, other than B.T.
My niece discovered Vodafone (who now do landline calls and broadband) will get you reconnected for free. and give you your number even before you are reconnected. Normal 1 year commitment the same as BT, with the tariff a little bit more than BT, but overall more of a saving over the year by not paying BT their £125 connection charge.
