Stoke City have returned to the top flight of English football after a gap of 23 years.

Took Mum and Aunty out for lunch today and there was an abundance of Red and White everywhere, as people prepared to head for the 2pm kick-off at the Brittania Ground. We were on pins wondering how they were doing, because today's match was important deciding whether or not they went up into the Premier League.
Took Mum and Aunty then to see my brother at a Canal Boat Festival for half an hour (bit cold and muddy hence short visit).
Just took them home again and all accross the City there is a sea of Red and White, smiling faces, car tooting and cheering ..........and Pride!! This is a real boost for a lot of people here! Been a bit of a rough time lately around here for some people! Made me feel proud too even if I don't go to the matches!
