them home for a clean n they've gone on a card!!!
it started with a kit................oh i feel like a song comming on, lol. anyway, i bought a xmas card kit n it all snowballed from there. chell x |

This 'illness' must spread in the same way!!! I too started off with cross stitch - then saw the 'Glitter Girls' with their 1st Romance Board
& I was hooked - it has spread - just like you said from one box to half of the dining room & I have also spread over to my mums - so that when I'm
there I can still craft! Crazy aren't we?

I'm another cross stitch convert, I bought a kit from qvc, then had a couple of plastic boxes, then I filled the cupboard under the stairs. I've had my craft room for a few months now and it is overflowing ... We are all as bad as eachother by the sound of it Claire xx |

I started with an A4 cello bag (doesn't have the same ring to it as....it started with a kit) with a few bits in it from a friend, then there was to box ,
then boxes, then the set of drawers, they must have been pregnant when I got them, cause they produced more drawers, gradually taking over an area at the back
of the family room, but eventually my family of drawers had to move, now they are in the dining room where they have now inherited some shelves, I am now
looking at some new sets of drawers in Costco that would fit nicely with the mishmash of storage units I have. So where is the A4 cello bag I started with cuz
I know I didnt use all of the bits from it....

I started with cross stitch and then during the summer holiday I started making some cards with my 3 grand-daughters and got hooked! Like everyone else, I
started with a few items and now have an overflowing craft room that spills out onto the landing!! Now when the grand-daughters come, I lock the door after I
have got out what I will let them use!!!!!!! We can also be quite possessive us crafters!!!!

Well, I started with a Christmas TSV kit from QVC, I remember Dawn Bibby saying it had everything in there you could possibly need to make cards. Luckily they
also had a TSV kit of cards, all colours and sizes, which I also bought. That was lucky, becuase what she hadn't said was 'except cards'. So they
arrived, and I got excited, but the other thing she hadn't said was 'you'll need glue'!
I started to make these Christmas cards, but discovered I didn't like the papers, they were rather gloomy, and it's been downhill ever since! I now have every chair in my lounge covered with boxes, more under the dining table and the dining chairs, under another table, piled up by the end of the couch, another big box by the side of the desk where I'm sitting now, and loads of boxes up in the back bedroom. Paula you have saved my sanity! I really thought I was going senile when I had to "tidy" the lounge before anyone could come through the front door.
Yes I understand the boxes that propagate overnight. In order to find the floor I had to move boxes off chairs, sofa, occasional tables and finally found the dining table. Where to put the stuff so I could vacuum??? No room under the bed, conservatory's full & bathroom too small. Well I finally moved multiple boxes, filled some more with stuff that appeared as each piece of furniture was moved. That night I slept on the sofa because there was only one other place I could hide the boxes....on top of the bed! I'm now in the process of throwing stored stuff out of the conservatory to make room for the boxes; which I vowed would not spend another night in my bed or clutter the livingroom! The weather has been kind, seeing the sun gives me the boost to lug those boxes back into the conservatory which started out as my craft room 2 years ago. I'm just not going to store stuff for other people, about time I learned to say "No". This means I can no longer be playing with my craft stuff after midnight as the conservatory is outside the house and I don't fancy having the neighbourhood watch report me as some burgler as I rummage through my boxes (as one does). I'm wondering if I should get something like a supermarket trolley that I could use to shuttle stuff from house to re claimed craft room & return it before sunset? That way I do not have to roast in the sun & can still hear the postie when he knocks but still have a less cluttered house? So Paula you are not alone, ! must confess I have re discovered stuff I bought months ago and wonder why I ever bought it in the first place! Eunice the clutterbug. |

I also started after watching Dawn Bibby embossing. She was selling Christmas stamps and embossing powder. I bought some, as I was intrigued with it all. I now
have a room over the garage, which is so packed I can't see the floor at the moment. (must tidy it again) Hundreds of wooden stamps and even more unmounted
ones. I have to keep re-organising it to get the new stuff in. (why do I keep buying) Hubby keeps remarking on that every time another parcel arrives. I bought
loads of A4, A5, and peel off boxes from ebay in an attempt to get some organisation. I had been storing my peel offs in a concertina file, but I have filled
24 peel off boxes !!! I do think I need help, where are the men in white coats? When it is sorted I will take another picture, as the blue boxes holding my
stamps have gone, as I had far too many!! The only problem with my craft room, is the slanted ceiling, which means I only have wall height of about three feet.
I could do with a room with a full height ceiling, and kit it out with floor to ceiling shelves. No doubt that would be bulging too..............I am sure it
is breeding.
