It's Paul's birthday today and we went on the Bluebell Railway with a Fish & Chip lunch included. The weather has been wall to wall sunshine and of
course the Bluebells were all out.
Whilst Paul was in the Gents I spoke to the Station Master and told him it was Pauls birthday and he was recovering from a triple bypass10 weeks ago, was there anything special I could include in the day for him.
He said leave it with him, and then came and found me and said Paul could ride on the engine when it was unhooked and taken to be filled up with water, then ride back on it when it was hooked to the front of the train again.
It was great to see him on the engine and I took some lovely photos, so we have had a lovely day.
