Use a good quality mayo and increase the flavour with mustard, lemon or garlic. The french put mustard in and its lovely. Ali x

My son has the Jamie Oliver cook books and makes the best mayo I have ever tasted. Cooking has become his passion after his family lol I never thought I would
ever see him in the kitchen - he has even started growing his own herbs and vegetables. Trish

I make my own mayo too, but only for very special occasions - it is yummy. I think I use the Delia Smith garlicky one too. Agree the amount iof oil in it is
shocking, but ok now and again! When I buy shop bought mayo I prefer supermarkets light mayo to the brands like helmans. I think it tastes nicer and mixes in
easier for coleslaw etc.
