I had some trouble with one of my fiskars border punches which jammed,I emailed them for advice and they asked me to send it back to them and they replaced it
.It was not a new punch and had been well used.regards stephanie

Try putting the punches in the fridge ahead of using on card or multiple usage as with the metal contracted they are easier to use.

Because I have bad hands +no power in em Tony put my punch in his vice + I just wind the handle + waalla

I too returned a Fiskars border punch and have just received a replacement which states only to be used on 100 gm. paper. Thats not very thick paper - and
even at that thickness the Fiskars border punches don't cut cleanly.

I use my encaustic iron to wax paper and punch that through the stiff punches. It works really well.

I have bought these and it does say not to use on card thicker than 100gms.I put them in the freezer if they stick or punch tin foil.

I rub my punches when they feel they are getting a bit stiff with a candle and work them a few times to get the candlewax into all the nooks and crannys and
then give it a wipe to get the access wax off. Seems a faff but it does work for me, the punch usually does quite a few punches before it needs waxing again.
