They are creamy to start with and you can water them down or mix just like H2Os, but I always use them in preference because there's no waiting once I've made up my mind. With the attention span at times of an amoeba I can have forgotten what I was planning by the time the H2Os soften!

The inexpensive brush is filled up with water by squeezing the barrel and drawing up as you would a fountain pen. Stores and travels securely. Lightly squeeze to wet brush and dry on kitchen roll then take some colour from the tip of the Watercolour pencil. Try on scrap card. To change colour, simply squeeze a little water through onto kitchen roll and dry again before going to next colour. Works wonders with rubber stamps and Staz On ink - I'm hooked on Penny Black stamps too !!

I love my watercolour pencils for shading but have also started using colouring pencils with Zest-it blending solution. You apply the blednign solution with a paper stump and it gives a great effect.

Posts: 2 (12/05/2008 23:27:30) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	What ever you add to your list my number one is my water brush as it makes the best of all that others have listed ................ once used no more brush and water jar in my humble opinion but as hubby was fool enough to say make a big list I would go the whole hog and then some ............... when will they ever learn offer us a new pen and we will want the whole stationers ! Lol !!!
