Hello from a sunny South Wales 
We had incredible thunder and lightening last night but the dog didn't bat an eyelid
The bedroom was lit up and then huge claps of thunder, truly amazing
The family came over for food last night for Mum's birthday. Unfortunately Dad wasn't very well. Mum loved her gifts. I gave her Joanna's Secret Garden as she loves flowers, and a kit from IW. My son gave her a bangle watch.
We are waiting for a phonecall from prodigal son togive him a lift home then going to Tesco as 'when she went there the cupboard was bare'
Mum announced last night she has bought an SLR camera, so we are going over later to set it up for her. I said if she had said she wanted a new one I would have bought it for her birthday. She had problems taking pics with a point and shoot one so goodness only knows how she will be with this one. I asked if she could change it - no
