My Choccy Lab Scooby has been wilting for the last few days. Usually stretched out on his tummy on the kitchen floor to cool down. Just watered a few plants
this evening with the spray attachment on and he went ballistic trying to catch the water in his mouth (he has a bowl of fresh water!), first time he has ever
done that, he usually runs away!!

I took Will the stafford out first thing this morning and since then he has spent his time fast asleep on my bed
. April bun and Lily and Rose the guinea pigs love the sun - they have plenty
of shade in their runs and have been snoozing happily .

Our dog Jack has been snoozing all day, now he's perked-up & asking for a game just as we're thinking it's nearly bedtime!

Ivy seems to have been immune to the heat today. It was still boiling hot at 4pm, but she was fidgetting to do evening stables [her version, which involves
chasing buckets of water along the drain], then her run and a ball game, followed by her supper! Same routine every day,

Ali your boys are beautiful! I love to watch cats relaxing, they're so good at it! My two girls have been either in the laundry basket/ on the sofa
snoozing or pottering outside. It's a hard life!

well tilly had her stroll this morning, then breakfast n we went out to a carboot (she stays home as 'she doesn't 'do' crowds', lol.
just got back so she's now having a snooze in the shady bit of garden. if she gets a bit warm she'll come in n laze indoors till teatime, now n again she nips to the fence for a bark, she has taken to guarding the bird-feeding cage in the mornings though, as soon as they land she chases them off, think this is her 'scarecrow phase'. oh well, long as she's happy. chell x |
