Frustraiting isn't it.
I hope you got proof of posting - I know things are bound to get lost with the volume of mail that is handled daily, but why is it always things that we are waiting for - never junk mail, or is it. Perhaps we should have 10 times the amount of junk that we receive but the RM have lost it to. Sarah xxx |

but what about stamps from a parcel getting lost lol.
I received a card through the door on saturday telling me there was excess postage to pay. When i phoned up and found out who it was from i was very surprised to say the least as i buy from this person frequently. The mystery deepened when i went to collect it, it had been sent recorded. When i contacted the sender, she has proof of postage (thank goodness), so had not had an elder moment lol. Thing is i now she always has those printed post office stamp thingies not postage stamps, so at this stage not sure what happened, but cost me extra postage to get my boxes of goodies, which the sender is refunding. So always post with proof of posting, as sending recorded is no guarantee that its been paid for lol. love and hugs Teejay xx Ps Hope Tildas turn up after their little holiday tour. |

Sandy, what a shame that you haven't received your swap and that your Tilda's have been lost. I hope you can claim with Royal Mail for the lost items,
it happened to me once and I made a succesful claim, took a while though.
Perhaps Registered is the best way to Swap. Christine xxxx |

I get so mad when things go missing - it's always the things you want most! Last year I ordered a strawberry planter from QVC. It went missing, although
it appeared to have left the suppliers. Now this year I ordered the same thing from Ideal World. Wouldn't you know it - it's gone missing again!!!
Again, it was despatched from the supplier. I'm just not meant to have one obviously
And all the hassle of trying to get your money back as well I always send stuff recorded delivery when I sell on ebay. You just would not
believe the amount of things that go missing when you send them ordinary mail.

Ooh sorry to hear that Sandy. If it was me I would feel the need to return the things I received - it would make me feel uneasy. Hope they turn up.Tess x

Sorry to hear than Sandy....do hope they turn up for you!
Don't fret about registered mail as it isn't all it is cracked up to be...had 2 very bad examples of that at work recently. According to RM tracking a package I asked to be sent special delivery had been received but I was actually on the phone to the recipient at 2.30 PM when the postman arrived with it, even though it is guaranteed to arrive by 1 PM!!!!! Similarly, we had one of those sorry you were out cards left in our reception where the postie couldn't be bothered ringing for a signature, plus he had written a nonsensical tracking number on the card |
