Posts: 1690 (13/05/2008 08:33:45) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Tags : None I placed an order with Ideal World (ordered online rather than over the phone)Sunday AM for a smoothie maker and it is still showing Back Order. Lately when I've placed an order with them after a few hrs status has changed to delivery note raised and then despatched. Have emailed CS and received an automated reply sayiong that they will get back to me within 7 days. Very disappointed with them. Hope they won't take this long with Joannas CD on Sunday. Sandra

Posts: 198 (13/05/2008 11:18:15) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	I have ordered a number of things from IW over the months and found that they have changed their way for you checking on the status of your order, on their auto line they give you a date, but it is ten days from that date that you should get the item, and if you email, and I have chased an order a few times that way, they never give you an answer until the stated time has gone by. Only had them from IW when Joanna had to wait a couple of weeks before she could sell one set on her web site. I was thinking of the people who order direct thro C &C or IW. Normally when I've ordered non craft items from IW they are processed quite quickly so can't understand why this item is taking so long. Just hope it will soon be sorted. I suppsoe we are so used to the speediness in which Joanna and team send out orders that we expect all to be the same. Will just have to be patient, but was hoping that I'd have the smoothie maker by the weekend. Was cheaper with p & p included than I could find it locally. Sandra xx

Surely by the time you've had any membership discount taken off but then added p&p and have to wait a week or so it's well worth waiting for Joanna to get it in her shop as more often than as not it still works out cheaper and you can 99.9 % ( other 0.1% Post Offices' problem) rely on a 100% service from her staff.
