Good luck with the chemo Janet. I know you won't believe it but with the chemo days and the consultant appts the 6 months will fly by. I had a butterfly
tree with enough butterflies ( instead of leaves) to cover all the days until the checkup after the last chemo - and seeing the tree get barer was amazing - I
'liberated' the last butterfly last Sunday. I really wanted a blonde wig - so as to be really different but in the end didn't lose my hair -
couldn;t tolerate the drug that would have caused that and had to have a different one. But go for a look you've always wanted and never dared to try.

I prefered to wear scarves as they were less itchy in hot weather but get ginormous great big ones and experiment can be verrrrry sexy (oops! can I say that)
alright then glamorous, is that better?

Good luck with the treatment Janet. Be kind to yourself and take any help that's offered without feeling guilty. You never know when you can return a
favour or pass it on. Ask as many questions as you need to of the people caring for you and don't bottle things up. There are a lot of people on here who
have been where you are and can lend an ear. I only have experience from friends and family who have gone through this. Many of them are still here 20 odd
years on and still clear. I will be thinking of you. Sending hugs.

My bestest friend went through all this about 8 years ago and now it's all like a distant dream. Shame about the hair, but what the hell, in a few months
it will be behind you too.
