My crafting bug has gone !! oh where has it gone
I need a kick up the rear end to get me crafting, Im buying and buying but not creating
any help to get my creative juices to flow once more

Tell yourself that you have a deadline to complete a card for a birthday or whatever occassion, it usually works for me.

Look at the galleries on the JS website and get all your craft magazines out. Always works for me!

well if you get an answer please share it with me, i'm going through the same thing, and i did have a deadline but that didn't work. Will be up early in the morning to try and make deadline, if not already missed it. Got more crafting goodies than i know what to do with or where to put them, but mojo been gone about a month, so if anybody seen it please send it home. love and hugs Teejay x |

I'm so glad to see that other people have the same problem!! I get out all these beautiful crafting materials and can't think what to do with
them
 ! I wonder if Joanna ever has the same problem!!?
Maybe you have to be in a "creative mood"! Like Marc says, it doesn't stop you buying 'though, does it!!?

when i cant get in the crafting mood i do a few ATC's which being much smaller i find it's easier to 'think' of a design for such a small area.
n if you start with a really nice paper or embellishment n imagine it's for someone really special. well it works for me so i thought i'd pass it on. chell x |

I think we all have this - I get in quite a temper with myself some days as I have a craft room the size of a small shop and masses of stuff and I just sit
here going - ooo I donlt know what to make .... ahhhh can't think what to do for the demo
pathetic ... sigh ... pull yourself together Joanna and just try harder ... but still it doesn;t always work .. looking at pictures of other people's cards does help ..... try a nice relaxed browse and then yes why not enter a competition - nearly time for us to have another I think!! |

Sometimes all the stuff I already have just doesn't inspire me so I buy something I reeeeaaaallly like and that I'm dying to get crafting on and take
it from there. The latest thing I just had to make right away was the sepia cards in Joanna's shop. They are sooooo lovely when they are made up.

Another thing you can do is to choose three colours [preferably ones that you don't often use], and make a card using them. Maybe start with making a
background paper, collage it, make a mess, it doesn't matter, just starting something is often the most difficult bit. If you look through colour
supplements or magazines there are some lovely colour combinations in there. Why not try creating a collage background paper using torn pieces? The mixes of
colour and texture may just inspire you.
Hopefully, you have a 'bits box', just play with the papers and you may be inspired by the odd angles/colour combinations. HTH Judy C |
