We are stay in the area on a weeks holiday and I would like to visit any if not all craft shops, while I'm there.
Hubby is going to some Airshows so I need my fix of craft.
There are only so many planes a girl can look at.
Thank you Dee xxx

Dee,
There is a small one at Millets Farm nr abingdon. They usually have a craft weekend in June but as the shop has changed hands, I am not sure if it is still going on. Where is the airshow? Sarah xxx |

There is a shop called Hockles which is not in the centre of Oxford, but in Kennington (just south of the ring road, i think). I found it when hubby went on a
conference the year before last.
I must admit I didn't find any in the centre of oxford, but that may have changed Hope you have a good trip Kate x |

Hi Dee,
There isn't many craft shops in Oxford, Hockles has closed down but still has a website. In Wantage there is stamp attic its part of the Arbrey Arcade. Wendy is very nice and will help you. there is also another one in Wallingford, I think it is in the Lamb arcade, haven't been there but have been told its okay. I don't know of any more than what has been mentioned above. you could try yell.com to find them. Paula.x |

hi dee
must let you know hockles in kennington has gone dis a shame cos had a bit of everything. in Abingdon town centre there's 3 shops all are masons. 1 is craft next door to it is a material shop & further round in town theres a wool/haberdasery shop also Masons. in bicester there is a big garden centre that has a number of shops including a craft shop. a small art shop in Broad street in oxford town centre has a craft department. & the last 1 i can think of is at bourton-on-the-water. its a lovely place to visit The cotswold are so pretty the little town lovely but always busy @ weekends The craft shop is good the fella who runs it knows his stuff will talk to every1 is full of advice oxford is home for me as you can prob guess. mandy |

We are a bit thin on the ground around here. Millets Farm shop craft barn has changed hands and not that good when I went the other week. If you venture to
Stratford on Avon there is Blue Moon.

The lady that owned Hockles still has a website and will get what you require, as it is more of a scrapbooking shop it doesn't conflict with Joanna. she is
still running classes as well if anyone is interested.
