Good morning from Benbecula. Aarghh! It's windy! Wondered what the rumbling noise was through the night. Sure enough, the past couple of weeks' gentle breezes have stepped up to a more robust pace. The sea is an almost blackish/blue with white horses trotting to the shore. Banks of cloud dot the sky with plenty blue bits, so the sunbeams are skipping between, warming the brisk start.

Am about to share some crafting stash with - me Mother! She's always blethered about a desire to watercolour but never tried it, believing she's not an artist. Pah! I told her a wobbly line would be art. So today I hope to show her the joys of playing with a different craft in the hope it works its calming magic. She's been warned my precious Koi paints are just to 'borrow', and taking some special watercolour paper and a mini easel in the hope of seeing something perched on it soon. Might take my equally precious Nouvel Carre pastels too (biting my lip here as I might need them as soon as they go out the door ). That's her Christmas present sorted if she gets on with it. As a prolific crafter all her life, resulting in running her own shop, which fed and clothed our big family until her retirement, am sure her latent passion will result in success.

Sassie - your beautiful memories of caravan moments are not being towed away and will remain with you. Hugggs to get you through the task though.
