Poor wee things, hope both your grandchildren get well really soon. I think you're quite right staying away - you being ill too would just give the family
something else to worry about.

No! You're a sensible granny. I didn't catch chicken pox until I was in my 50's and it's not to
be recommended so keep your distance for a little while. I do hope they feel better soon and am sending you and them some ((hugs))

Thank you all very much for your kind words , . He is back home again now, D in Law took him to the hospital because his
temperature was really high, they examined him and more or less said its cos of the chicken pox but his gums were infected with the pox so they told her to take him to the dentist! He has no teeth yet, but whilst at the dentist an abscess or something burst in his mouth, bleeding, so she took him back to the hospital and said she wasn't leaving until they did something. so that is why they kept him in overnight . His sister came down today cos her scabs are drying up so we have had some lovely cuddles. and I have told her to give him a big cuddle from Granny! Love Jen. |

Course you aren't a horrid granny! Just a sensible one. Suggest your grand-babies are bathed with a handful of sodi-bicarb in tepid water - soothes the
itch very well. Always suggested it to patients and it works better than a lot of more expensive products. Best wishes to you and your family. Janet
