I've just gone out and bought a smoothie maker and there aren't many recipes with it. Have asked on Cookery and Recipes if anyone has any they'd
be willing to share. Just posting on here incase some of you don't read the cookery and Recipe section.

Hubby does one with grapes, apples, fresh Orange juice and ice it is lovely

Just experiment, melon, blackberries, strawberries and apple juice makes a lovely one. Trish

Lrg Banana; 200gr fresh strawberries; 125ml low fat strawberry yoghurt; 1 scoop low fat vanilla ice-cream; 150ml skimmed milk; 3 - 6 ice cubes
Place all ingredients into smoothie maker (ice cubes in last) If abit too thick add a drop more skimmed milk Enjoy..... Christine xxx |

Be careful how many you have. Due to the amount of fruit needed to make a smoothie they are very high in natural sugars. Also don't overdo it with grapes,
they have the highest levels of sugar of most fruits.
Saying that, they are still lovely! When i'm back at work monday i'll get some of the recipe's from one of the major Smoothie companies we supply fruit to. I'll post in recipes, monday evening. Steve x |

Why don't you Google smoothie recipes, when I got my ice cream maker a few weeks ago there were only two recipes in the booklet, and I got lots of recipies from the net! Sheran x Try this http://www.smoothie-recipes.net/

I think you can virtually make them up as you go along.
Loads of recipe books in all the cheap book shops. Experiment!!! Although a little advice at this point - from my daughter and her boyfriend. The last slice of Christmas Cake was not a great success!!! Ann xxx |
