Have AVG and am really pleased with it. It was recommended to me by a number of genealogists on one of my family history sites, including use in universities,
when two more well known makes were giving me grief.
It is excellent. Recently I was messaged that I was entitled to Version 8, which I accepted. Downloaded it and you have the option to take 7.5 out, or it will automatically do it for you if you do not perform this yourself within a certain time. The whole process has cost me nothing. I have the slightly upgraded version. Instead of free, I pay about £ 30 for two years. Good value I think. Katrina, I was a bit unsure of what you meant. Did you say that AVG not longer exists, or has yours run out ? They do seem to have become another company but I remain under their auspices. Best wishes Sonia |
