I did one like that for my niece ... how I wish I had photographed it. It had a garden and brick walls too.

Well done you!
I finally gave up and handed mine to a local charity shop together with the embroidery threads after it hung about for 3 years waiting for me to complete it...........did try but lacked the concentration & stamina! EuniceX |

well done for keeping at it.
i do cross stitch & there is a great sense of satifaction when you finish a piece of work. Unless you do cross stitch i don't think you completely appreiate just how much work goes into it. Espeially when its got lots of colour in it & your doing a couple of stitches & then changing colour. i did a tapestry of a tiger trouble was it took me so long to do it lost its shape & landed up twisted.arghhhhhh my pride & joy is the the wolves on a mountain background that was a challenge was circular to which is quite different. thats hung up in the lounge & have had so many compliments even not beleiving how its done. mandy |

that is lovely Sharon. I wouldn't have the patience to do something like that. Could never get on with knitting for same reason. Sewing no problem - in my
youth would pick up a piece of material on a Saturday afternoon, and by the evening would have a new dress to wear to go out!

That's lovely Sharon; well done on finishing it. I have a half-knitted jumper that has been lying in a cupboard for years, which I keep meaning to finish,
but card-making has taken over and there's not enough hours in a day.

Wow Sharon, no wonder it took so longer, it is so detailed. I love cross stitch but have never done anything so detailed, don't think my patience would
hold now. You will have to get that talented daughter of yours to do the framing, I went to a class and it is not too difficult, much cheaper than having it
done outside. Great, love it. Love Nannywendy xxx
