Too much I suspect but probably around £80. Prices are horrendous but luckily we've just found an NHS dentist and quite close too.

I went to sign up with a local dentist I was in for an initial consultation, which took less than five mins, she told me to rebook for an xray and they would
take it from there, I went out to make the appointment and was given a bill for £65 for the consultation, needless to say that was my first and last at that
practice, thankfully I have since managed to get with NHS Dentist in our area. I really dont know how they can justify charges like that.

It really comes to it when, in modern society, people can't afford to look after their teeth doesn't it? The charges are unbelivable aren't they? I
had a root canal done a couple of years ago and that was £750... nearly finished me off when I saw the quote

in our local hospitals they now charge you for any medications they give you when discharged!

And the parking charges for hospital car parks are a disgrace as well aren't they She?

I think our local hospital is £4 for the day or any part of a day so you could pay £4 for one hour or 24! Ridiculous. I have had to pay that many times when
Mum has been zipped into A&E - last time we were there just 2 hours and it was about 11pm........... so I had to pay £4 for the hour before midnight and
another £4 for the hour after!

Costs me £80 just for an examination! I have dental implants so had to go private initially.
Thank goodness check-ups are only every 6 months. Jan
