Seems like some horrible person may have kicked him up the backside and caused internal bleeding, which the vet hasn't been able to stop Poor thing has only been given 50/50 chance. Please send kind thoughts to help him get through this. My mum's on holiday at the moment so she can't even be there and it's all being done over the phone. Thank goodness for the vet who rushed to the house today to pick him up. And I live a 3 hour drive away so I'm not much help. All a bit stressful. TJ Edit - So sorry to say mum just phoned. And how awful that person was that caused it, i have no time for people who commit animal cruelty, its awful, and i do what i can to stop it. I hope the cat pulls through and is ok. Thinking of the poor cat,you and your mum at this time.

Going back a good few years now, we rescued a pregnant mother kitty who later gave birth to 4 kittens, one who was very sickly we hand-reared & loved so much. He grew to be more like a little dog in his ways & was so loyal. He was sadly kicked in the jaw, & although we suspected a road accident (he hardly went out by choice), but no.....our vet treated him & spent ages nursing him, & told us he'd been kicked in the jaw. His jaw was broken & he'd lost many teeth, & the trauma was very bad for him. We nursed him for a good 4 months until he was fully recovered. He always was a very special cat among the many we rescued, but happily he lived for 17 years, always as loving & loyal, but always with a crooked smile. Even now, after 10 years, we miss his chatter & company :-) So, there is hope TJ :-) Jac x

There's always hope and the vets are doing everything possible for him. It's sad that there's no one there at the moment although mum's going home early on friday. Hopefully to pick him up. It probably seems a big fuss for a cat when there are so many ill people out there but we do get attached to our pets. TJ
