I had the pleasure of Ikklewol's company today (cunning ploy by Dawnywol I think to use my craft stash and printer ink whilst she did more on her
dissertation), and was told Ikklewol wanted to use MCS to make her Dad's father's day card! She knew what images she wanted to use from playing with
it the other day. She originally was going to put a cricket scoreboard with a dog with a tie, but then she found the cricketer and other images and changed
her mind!
I was in charge of helping with the double sided tape, and putting the peel-offs around the picture as she had cut curved corners on the images - having found my corner punch (gee thanks Ikklewol!). It was an A4 card, and she told me she wanted to score the top piece of card and put it "curve it round the back". I was going to trim the back piece - but oh no! - she wanted it left so she could put something on that. I said to her I think you have been watching Nancy on C&C too much - reply "yes - although Aunty Nancy doesn't always do it like that"!
The only help I gave her on the images was resizing the strip down the side on the back piece as first effort came out too big. She did the wording on main image herself too, with a little help from me to show her how that part of the programme worked - but was then told to "go away - I'll do it myself"!

still I speak to them on the phone regularly so even if they
don't recognise me immediately when I visit, at least they know my voice
