I was thinking of you yesterday Janet, so pleased that the treatment went so well and hope that future ones are as good. What a lovely surprise for your mum to
organise for you, just sit back and take care of yourself. Will be praying for you honey

Glad it went well. Hope you continue to feel good - but don't worry if in a day or two you feel as though your get up and go has got up and gone -
it's normal! You will learn when you will have good days and when the days you just want to stay under the duvet are - and just go with it. Fruit drops
are good if your mouth get's very dry.

Your courage is amazing! For me to say 'well done' sounds so trite, but know I mean it with the greatest admiration. Even if I don't manage to
add my hugs on the hug thread daily, know my thoughts are with you. Enjoy the gardener (ohhh that sounds bad, but ya know what I mean
 ) and relax watching plenty telly.

I'm with Susan, (very well put). I always feel a bit useless and shuffle around from one foot to another in a cyber kind of way. Good luck and I hope the
gardener is nice enough for you to have a Diet Coke break!

Thanks for all the lovely replies. Got me sat here crying!!! Daft or what! Gardener will finish by lunchtime. Garden is not huge as we had a large kitchen
and conservatory added a few years ago so I can now sit in it and enjoy the gardendoing my cards. Mum has been absolute star shes nearly 80 so even more so -
she won't let me pay for anything relating to my illness and has even treated me to quite a few crafty bits. Once we get into a routine going to take
her out for a lovely family meal on my good days. Money will be a little tight as I cannot do my weddings at the moment and only have my dinner lady money for
the time being but I still feeling fine !##Thanks again!

To keep you upbeat. Aidan had six months of I/V chemo and then went on cyclophosphamide pills (oral chemo). He wasn't affected badly except at the begining
when he was really ill and now, 11 years later is as healthy as someone who doesn't worry about his health can be
 Chemo doesn't have to be horrible,
but as I said before, eat beetroot and drink soda water if your tummy feels odd
