I was a single mum of two, and mine were not allowed out unless they had somehere to go ( no hanging around on street corners)
We would play cards and board games for hours, still do every now and then. But it got me thinking about my childhood games, hopscotch, British bull dog, whats the time Mr Wolf!! and.............Snobs, does anyone remember snobs, five cubes you threw up and caught on the back of your hand, then all sorts from there, pease pudding hot, pease pudding cold, this is the house that Jack built............Oh i really wanna play it NOW.
OMG just read this post back and i sound like some rambling old nut case
Bet the younger forum members think i'm a right balm pot
Happy memories.
