Selling Cards |

I've only really made cards for family and friends and if I've been asked to make any. The Lady were we take the dogs to said I could leave some cards
to sell there if I wanted to. Having never sold card before what type of cards to you all make to see and how much do you charge. Hope you don't mind me
asking. I don't craft with anyone else so it's hard to know what's best.
Thanks in advance. Jenny x

I mostly sell A6 cards at £1.50 each and have had no problem selling at work and to family/friends. My mum put some into a shop near her and I think she said
she had £14 for me - so someone likes them
although the shop does add
on 50p so they people are paying £2. I make all kinds, baby, wedding, birthday, any occasion, retirement, anniversary etc. Good luck with yours.

Make a variety of different themed cards, as birthdays, babies etc, but do not entirely think of what you believe the costumers want, but what you enjoy doing!
Second guessing what other people like and want is a full time occupation and is a waste of time, in my opinion...If you like making vintage baby cards,do so!
If you prefer using a lot of flowers, do so, if you want to make themed Tilda cards, do so....YOU DECIDE!!! Making cards is so much fun and one shouldnt make a
chore of it.
Good Luck! Eva xx |

I sell my A6 cards for 1.50 and A5 for 3.00. Its a good idea to have a range of different cards. I agree that you should make the cards you like it should
never feel like work
